Diederika Tasma is founder, CEO and instructor at TASMA Aviation Training, a product of Tasma Life Balance. Her more than 20 years professional career in the airline and travel industry have been exceptionally varied. She had the privilege to work with many culture groups in different areas of aviation. In 2008 Diederika joined the Etihad Airways SAT Care Team. Since then she started to follow her passion: training and supporting people to overcome stress, anxiety, conflict, trauma and grief, but also to increase performing skills in daily life or business.
Diederika has a considerable level of experience as an instructor, trainer and coach in many different areas. As a trainer for fear of flying seminars at flugangst-berater.com she is often confronted with the stress-levels not only of her clients, but also of crews on board. In 2016 the idea came up to develop together with Markus a special stress management in aviation programme and support for the airline industry.
"As the descendant of the famous sailor Abel Tasman (the first European discoverer of Tasmania & New Zealand in 1642), I know how much beauty this world has to offer. I like people to discover new places and new boundaries of life, keeping up the passion for flying and keeping flying safe, so that each one of you can have a relaxed flight and go on its own discovery trip!"
"In many areas of the airline industry it's all about improving the technology and efficiency of an aircraft to keep flying safe. But there is more about it and we should not forget the
people who make it possible.
Therefor it was my personal issue to develop a programme for the airline industry that is based on improving mental fitness/health within a short period of time. I hope that with this
programme we can lower the bad stigma around mental health in aviation, by supporting especially flight crews like a mental trainer in sports to overcome performing stress".
